During the Summer of 2017, I was given the opportunity to attend a woodblock printing class at Anderson Ranch. I was awarded a grant through the University of Denver’s School of Art and Art History which covered all tuition and housing costs associated with this experience. For an entire week, I had free range in a printmaking studio. I explored color, the Kento registration technique, and translating my sketchbook images into editionable art.
